Lion - Day 1

Updated: Jan 11, 2021

Today we are learning the letter L. We are placing ours in a sheet protector and putting it in a binder for future reference. We decided to do a little finger painting with our print out. You will find the free print out here.

For today's craft all you really need is the print out, some crayons, scissors and some glue. My daughter and I enjoyed some coloring together. I then tried to show her to use the scissors. I was going to just color the circle orange, cut slips for the mane and glue it; however I decided to trace two circles on to orange construction paper. One of the circles was so that I could model how to to cut the mane and the other one was for her to try. I ended up making one of the circles smaller and we then glued both of them together to make a pretty nice mane. We used a crayon to curl the mane and added a popsicle stick. You will find the free file here.

We will be going over the number two the whole week, however I will still be revisiting the number three everyday as well. For today's activity we will be counting the lions and glueing the pieces back together. You will find the free file here.

I hope you enjoyed today's activities and hope you visit us soon. Please visit back for Day 2 and follow us on facebook www.facebook.com/lilirubiana/
