Thanks to Leapfrog Letter Factory, my daughter can identify most of the upper case letters. This month, I introduced the lowercase letters by having her pair them with the upper case letters. I started with the letters A-D.
I added a light opacity on the lower case letters so that she would be able to pair them correctly. Since then I have modified the puzzle and made it slightly challenging for her. Instead of adding the opacity I have simply cut out each puzzle piece and I had her practice naming each letter as she pairs them correctly. I only do a couple of letters at a time.
Here's is a free four letter puzzle for you to try out with your little one.
The first file includes the 4 letters A-D with the opacity on the lower case letters. I printed the file on card stock and laminated it, but you can also use a sheet protector.
The second file includes the lower case letters a-d, which I also laminated. I have once again updated my file and I have added velcro dots on mine. I will post the final product once the set is completed.
I hope you enjoy this puzzle and hopefully you will subscribe for more freebies.
