Today we are starting off the day introducing 3 other letters. We will be using this same puzzle piece for the next four weeks. You can have your child glue the matching pieces together. I laminate mine and added velcro sticky dots. I told my daughter the baby animals need to find their mama. I make sure I say the letter and sound the letter as I mention the baby animals. You can find the Letter P Puzzle file here.
We are still going over the number three. The plan was to color and glue the three polar bears below the number three. Instead I decided to laminated it and add velcro dots to reuse it over and over again. For day 3, I decided to reuse the same activity and add play doh to form the number three. The file also includes the number 2, which we will be going over on week 2. You can find the free file here.
For the last activity I decided to do a hide and seek letter find. On the file I also included the letter L for the following week. The file includes lowercase letters as well. Cut out the squares from the bright colored table. The first table that you see in the file is meant for your little one to glue the pieces there. I hid the cut out squares in a small sensory bin that I quickly put together. I added 2 packages of styrofoam balls that you usually find during Christmas. You can also find them at any local craft store including the dollar store. The object of the activity is for your child to find the letters and the polar bears and glue them to the corresponding location. I've updated the file so that it would be a bit more colorful. You can find the free file here.
